Marc Anthony doesn't hesitate to flaunt his new model girlfriend, Shannon De Lima, to show that he has moved on from Jennifer Lopez. On Wednesday, January 4, the 43-year-old Latin singer posted on his Facebook page a photo that sees him kissing his Venezuelan girlfriend while his arms are tightly wrapped around her body.
Adding a caption to the intimate photograph, the two-time Grammy winner wrote, "Gracias!" A day prior, he also shared a posting on Twitter to show his adoration to the lucky girl. "A mi @Shadelima mi estatua de libertad. Besos bebe," so he tweeted in Spanish, which means "To Shannon, my statue of liberty. Kisses baby!" in English.
Anthony's new leading lady is a 24-year-old Venezuelan model who is also the runner-up of 2005 Miss Earth Venezuela. According to Hola, De Lima has a 4-year-old son from a previous relationship.
The singer went public with his new relationship on Tuesday, January 3, as he re-tweeted a posting from his adopted son Chaze Muniz, who wrote, "To all my followers and everybody on twitter follow 2012 best couple and for many more years to come @MarcAnthony and @Shadelima !!!!!"
In a later posting, Muniz added, "Life is beautiful nothing like being surrounded by the people you love @MarcAnthony @Shadelima !!!!!! #family."
This is not the first time the "I Need to Know" singer gets linked romantically to a Latin model. Back in December 2011, Life & Style magazine reported that he was dating a Mexican model named Adriana Ontiveros.
