Hot Chelle Rae are on the rise to be the next big thing in music scene. The band consisting of four boys from Nashville, Ryan Follese, Nash Overstreet, Ian Keaggy and Jamie Follese, broke the top 10 on Billboard Hot 100 with their easy-listening single "Tonight Tonight". They reached No. 7 on the U.S. Single chart.

"It's funny because the music we listen to has always centered around pop," Nash gushed. "And I think the success of 'Tonight Tonight' showed us that we could go in that direction and put out an album of music that we would listen to as well as play." Ryan added, "It created a lane for us. We like the idea of being a band amid all these solo acts on the radio. It challenges you to write great songs."

Through the chart-busting single, the band got nominated for Best New Artist - International at 2011 Premios Fuse TV. They fought against Jessie J ("Price Tag"), Bruno Mars ("Grenade"), Two Door Cinema Club ("What You Know"), and Wiz Khalifa ("Black and Yellow"), but lost the prize to Two Door Cinema.

A month after losing the Premios Fuse trophy, Ryan and his friend got a revenge by scoring Sprint New Artist of the Year at 2011 American Music Awards. The four-piece band, who served as one of the opening acts at Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" tour, pushed aside tough competitors The Band Perry, Miguel and Khalifa.

Being signed to Jive Records since October 2008, Hot Chelle Rae are currently preparing their second studio album "Whatever" which is fueled with crowd-pleasers. They landed a collaboration with New Boyz, Bei Maejor and Demi Lovato each. They are going to release the sophomore set across the United States on November 29.
