Pictures announced that it will stop shipping all "Harry Potter" theatrical film titles, including "Harry Potter: The Complete 8-Film Collection", starting December 29.

Warners' moratorium does not include the digital, Electronic Sell-Through and VOD, or game version of the franchise. The action was taken as an attempt to boost up the sales of the films leading to the holiday season by encouraging individuals to buy the DVDs before they are no longer available.
