Lady GaGa has a big chance to shine at this year's MTV European Music Awards for she's nominated in six categories. The American singer is vying for Best Female, Best Live, Best Pop, Best Song for "Born This Way", Best Video for "Born This Way" and Biggest Fans.

On GaGa's tail are fellow Americans Katy Perry and Bruno Mars who pocket four nominations each. Perry would battle GaGa in Best Female, Best Pop, Best Song and Best Live. Meanwhile, Mars' nominations are in Best New, Best Male, Best Push and Best Song for "Grenade".

Taking three each are Adele, 30Seconds to Mars and Justin Bieber. The last two names go up against GaGa for the artist with biggest number of fans and most passionate devotees. A new category added to this year's ceremony, Biggest Fans also includes Paramore and Bieber's girlfriend Selena Gomez.
