'House' alum Edelstein is cast as a sexy lawyer and born poker player, while former 'Tudors' star Dormer will play a shrewd young woman from the influential House Tyrell.

AceShowbiz - Despite leaving "House M.D.", Lisa Edelstein will still show up on small screen. The Dr. Lisa Cuddy of the FOX medical drama series is booked for a multi-episode arc on CBS' "The Good Wife" and will appear during the early part of the third season.

The 44-year-old actress, who opted not to return to "House" for its eighth season, will play a lawyer and born poker player whose sexiness is enhanced by her obvious intelligence, TVLine says. Her character has a history with Alicia's boss/love interest Will (Josh Charles), but it is unclear whether the relationship in the past is professional, personal, or both.

Another TV beauty, Natalie Dormer, also lands a new gig. She is added to the regular cast of "Game of Thrones" when it returns for a second season. The blonde star, who played seductive and doomed Anne Boleyn on Showtime's "The Tudors", will portray Margaery Tyrell on the HBO new hit series.

Dormer's character is a beautiful and shrewd young woman from the influential House Tyrell. Due to her status, "she's pledged to marry the late King Robert's brother, Renly Baratheon, as part of House Tyrell's support for his bid to seize the Iron Throne from King Joffrey," Entertainment Weekly reports.
