Natalie Dormer made her acting debut shortly after she completed her study at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London with a starring role in the 2005 film "Casanova" as Victoria. Her performance was dubbed impressive and in the same year she had minor part on TV series "Distant Shores". She afterwards was cast in several films which sad to say failed to be released before finally landing a guest starring role in an episode of the detective drama "Rebus".
The feature, in fact, marked her turning point as her star shone even brighter in the years to come. Her next starring role was as Anne Boleyn on "The Tudors". She won Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role in 2008 and 2009. Not long after that, she was recruited as Margaery Tyrell in fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones".
