Ginnifer Goodwin won't be walking down the aisle this year as what has been planned earlier. The actress, who is famous for her role as Margene Heffman on "Big Love", has recently called it quits with fiance Joey Kern. A source told People Magazine that she and the 34-year-old actor "broke up a few weeks ago."

The source further claimed that despite the break-up, Ginnifer and Joey still plan to remain friends. The two were last spotted together at the Courage Campaign: A Benefit to Continue the Fight Against Prop 8 in Hollywood in March. Meanwhile, the "Something Borrowed" actress herself was spotted out and about without her engagement ring recently as she grabbed some coffee with a female friend.

News of the split came out just five months after announcing their engagement back in December 2010. "We couldn't be happier than to celebrate our engagement over the holidays with our families," their statement at the time read. It was reported that the reported-former couple planned to exchange vows in autumn.
