AceShowbiz - Julia Stiles won't let her name be dragged too far in Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter's marriage break up. Soon after it was reported that she caused the rift between the couple, Julia releases a statement to address the rumor, claiming "I have absolutely nothing to do with the split between Michael and Jennifer."
"We are good friends and enjoyed working together," she further says in the statement released by her rep. "This is a personal matter between them, and we should respect their privacy. Although I too prefer to keep my private life, private - I felt compelled to dispel the rumors I was somehow the cause for this matter."
Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, who both star in "Dexter", announced their separation on November 13, adding that it "was amicable". The couple, who has been married for almost two years, has filed for divorce.
Later, media reported that Michael had been cheating on his wife by romancing Julia Stiles, who plays his love interest in "Dexter". "They have a lot of chemistry and seemed to be extra cozy with each other," a source gushed about the twosome.
