'They showed us the first baby that was crying, we were crying,' Rene Angelil reveals moments when he and Celine welcomed their twin boys on Saturday, October 23.

AceShowbiz - Two days after Celine Dion gave birth to twin baby boys at St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, the singer's husband, Rene Angelil, has now shared about the "emotional" delivery. "When Saturday at 11:11, they showed us the first baby that was crying, we were crying," Rene said during an interview with Canadian TV show "etalk".

"It was a very emotional moment, and even though we didn't speak to each other, we were both thinking about the time it took," Rene further shared during the Monday, October 25 interview. "We are very lucky, very privileged and very fortunate to have these boys."

Celine and Rene's first son, 9-year-old Rene Charles Angelil, is also as excited as his parents. "He was very, very happy that it was boys. I remember a few months ago when mom told him the day we were going to know if it was a boy or a girl or two boys or two girls... his reaction pointing to his mom's belly he said, 'I hope there's not too many girls in there'."

The twins, who both have dark hair, are distinctly different. Rene said, "They do look alike but maybe they won't look alike in a few months because they are not identical twins." Rene Charles is apparently also aware of his brothers' differences. Rene recalled what his first son said, "One looks like dad, and the other one looks like mom."

As for Celine's multi-million dollar deal to return to Las Vegas in 2011, Rene explained, "We know she's going to start rehearsing January 17. It gives her three months to recoup and she thinks she can do it."
