AceShowbiz - Sad news has come from Kelsey Grammer. In a statement to Radar Online, the "An American Carol" actor revealed that his girlfriend Kayte Walsh suffered a miscarriage, stating "We lost our unborn child about six weeks ago."
Now that Kelsey and Kayte are losing their first child together, the mourning pair said, "We would like to thank all of those who expressed kindness and concern but we needed a little time to heal, time to find some solace before we publicly acknowledged our loss."
Back in August, just over a month after his wife of 13 year Camille Donatacci filed for divorce, Kelsey first confirmed that Kayte was pregnant. The "Crazy on the Outside" actor at that time said, "We're very happy and we'd just like to ask, now that the news is out, to respect our privacy and celebrate with us. We wanna keep the baby!"
The baby news hit the surface after Kayte's father, Alan Walsh, told Daily Mail earlier that month, "It's great news and we are very pleased for them both. I don't know how long they have been together and I have not met him yet, but I'm looking forward to it. We just found out about her pregnancy a couple of days ago."
The miscarried baby would have been Kelsey's fifth child. The 55-year-old actor has two kids, daughter Mason Olivia and son Jude Gordon, from his wedding with Camille. He also has 26-year-old actress daughter Spencer Grammer from his marriage with dance instructor Doreen Alderman and 18-year-old girl out of wedlock with makeup stylist Barrie Buckner.
