Leighton Meester is making a collaboration with Robin Thicke for her upcoming debut album. It is the small screen actress herself who makes the confirmation, sharing the news with Just Jared during HBO's post Emmy Awards reception held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Sunday, September 20.
Other than confirming that the collaborative song will serve as the first single off her upcoming record, Leighton didn't spill further detail about the project. Possible title and release date for her studio album also were not disclosed.
Leighton Meester earned her fame in Hollywood as an actress. Her most known role is that as Blair Waldorf in CW's series "Gossip Girl". In late April this year, it was confirmed that she signed a recoding deal with Universal Republic Records.
From that point on talks have been brewing that she is hard at work on releasing an album. She, moreover, has also been featured in Cobra Starship's song, "Good Girls Go Bad", which comes from the band's third studio album "Hot Mess".
