See how people react when there are hundreds of white gloves, which are similar to Michael Jackson's, falling from the sky.

Following recent announcement that Janet Jackson will open this year's MTV Video Music Awards and pay homage to her brother Michael Jackson, MTV releases a fresh TV spot in a bid to promote the tribute. Unlike previous promos which are inspired by West Side Story, this new one doesn't include any musical number.

Instead, this commercial ad features the condition of New York City's streets during traffic jam. A cab driver seems very upset, while his two passengers are ignorant to their surroundings. Suddenly, hundreds maybe even thousands of white gloves, which are similar to the ones belonging to the late King of Pop, rain down everywhere on the streets.

The 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards will take place at Radio City Music Hall on September 13 and is going to be hosted by British comedian and actor Russell Brand. Its confirmed performers include Taylor Swift, Lady GaGa, Beyonce Knowles, Jay-Z, Muse, Green Day, Janet Jackson and Pink. As for its house band, Wale and UCB are recruited for the duty.

Other celebrities who will attend the annual event are Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. They will be present at the awards to unveil an extended trailer for movie, "The Twilight Saga's New Moon". The "Twilight" fans will also be treated with the debut of the film's soundtrack, Death Cab for Cutie's "Meet Me in the Equinox". Furthermore, Ashley Greene from the movie series will be present as well, serving as a fashion correspondent.
