Jessica Simpson Compares Divorce to 'a Death in the Family'
Celebrity

Finding it hard to deal with her divorce from Nick Lachey, the actress-singer however insists she will "definitely" wed again.

AceShowbiz - Discussing about her love life in an interview with Glamour magazine for its September issue, newly single Jessica Simpson says her divorce to then-husband Nick Lachey is like "a death in the family." About that matter she explains, "It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again. You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete - and that's the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person."

"I loved everything about marriage," she goes on recalling. "I loved having a companion to wake up with and have barbecues with. But things happen and people grow apart. I don't really ever talk about the divorce because it was a heart-wrenching thing to go through. It's a very, very personal thing." And though her first marriage didn't last forever, Jessica insists she will "definitely" wed again.

Jessica, who did the interview before she broke up with Tony Romo, then states, "I don't regret anything I've gone through. I don't know what the future holds, but I hope that my life, as it is now, doesn't change. I'm very happy and comfortable - it's a great place to be in. If this article comes out and we're not together, I'd still love [Tony], and he'd still be a huge part of who I am today."

When it comes to the football quarterback, Jessica has nothing but praise, crediting him for helping her become more comfortable in her own skin despite her struggle with body image. "Tony never ever places judgment," she tells Glamour magazine's September issue which will go on sale next Tuesday, August 11. "You can just relax and feel beautiful. He's just that type of person."
