Two 'Prince of Persia: Sands of Time' Posters Jump Out
Movie

The first two one-sheets from the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced adventure fantasy feature Jake Gyllenhaal as the 'rogue prince' Dastan and Gemma Arterton as the 'mysterious princess' Tamina.

AceShowbiz - Two brand new posters of "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" have been debuted by Empire. Looking more like a magazine cover rather than an epic adventure set, each of the one-sheets brings up two of the film's main characters, Jake Gyllenhaal's 'rogue prince' Dastan and Gemma Arterton's 'mysterious princess' Tamina.

The two posters are said to be U.K. version since they are released by Empire which base is in London. The one-sheets pair also came out soon after Entertainment Weekly (EW) put out the adventure fantasy's first official photo on their Comic-Con preview issue. The EW's image focuses on exposing Dastan in an action pose.

"Prince of Persia: Sands of Time" centers its story on Dastan, a street urchin in 6th century Persia who after showing valor in battle, is adopted by the king as his heir. When a villainous nobleman plans an evil plot to get his hand on the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world, he is forced to join forces with Tamina, a feisty and exotic princess, to save the world.

Directed by "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" helmer Mike Newell, the Walt Disney's feature project is based on Ubisoft Montreal's 2003 video game of the same name. Joining Jake Gyllenhaal and Gemma Arterton in the cast ensemble are Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina. The action adventure movie is set to be released in the U.S. May 28, 2010.
