Entertainment Weekly has come up with two better quality photos of Scarlett Johansson as the femme fatale character in the sequel to 2008 blockbuster 'Iron Man'.

AceShowbiz - Hours after the blurry screen-captures that exposed first look at Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in "Iron Man 2" came out, Entertainment Weekly (EW) has presented the better quality ones. The clearer images from the mag's second annual Comic-Con preview issue display that the 24-year-old actress becomes a red-headed Russian superspy Natasha Romanoff.

Along with the photos, EW also unravels details about the new addition. It explains that Natasha is Stark's mysterious new assistant who has an alter ego of her own called Black Widow. She replaces the billionaire's former assistant Pepper Potts who has been been promoted to CEO of Stark Industries. Her existence sparks romantic tension between Stark and Potts.

Commenting on the romance twist, Gwyneth Paltrow, who takes on the role of Potts once again, says, "The men want it to be, like, 'Ooh, the girls are fighting over Tony,' but it's not as standard as that. There's a weird male catfight fantasy." Lead actor Robert Downey Jr. chimes in, saying "We're horny. Not, like, can't-bring-your-kids horny, but just...horny."

Directed once again by Jon Favreau, "Iron Man 2" will have its script written by Justin Theroux. Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow reprise their role as Tonny Stark/Iron Man and Pepper Potts. They are joined by Don Cheadle who will take on Colonel James 'Rhodey' Rhodes in place of Terrence Howard, Samuel L. Jackson who stars as Nick Fury, and Mickey Rourke who is set to carry out Whiplash among others.

Set to hit in U.S. theaters on May 7, 2010, this "Iron Man" sequel reportedly is wrapping up its principal photography this week. It will be presented by Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment at the San Diego Comic Con 2009 on Saturday, July 25, from 04:00 P.M. to 05:00 P.M. at Hall H.
