Jay Lyon wants to get back with ex-girlfriend Whitney Port, saying "I think it was early for our relationship to end."

AceShowbiz - Jay Lyon wants to rekindle his broken love relationship with actress girlfriend Whitney Port. Speaking to OK! Magazine at the "One Is Greater Than None Benefit Concert" in N.Y.C. last Friday, March 20, Jay said, "I think it was early for our relationship to end."
Claiming he still keeps in touch with Whitney and plans to stay in New York for the next few months to work on his new album, Jay is hopeful that he can get back with Whitney. "At the moment we're taking a bit of time for ourselves," Jay revealed further. "When she gets back to New York we'll see what happens. I definitely don't want to give up on it."
Asked about Whitney's alleged romance with "Lipstick Jungle" hottie Robert Buckley, Jay said, "If that's what she's doing than great if she's happy. As long as she's happy." Also opening up on the possibility of him joining cast of "The City", which will begin filming in a month, Jay opened up, "Music is the main priority right now and always will be. If it works, it works; if it doesn't, it doesn't. We'll move on."
Whitney Port and Jay Lyon began dating last summer when she started filming her MTV series "The City" and eventually moved to Manhattan. In Touch Weekly broke report of their split last week, claiming the pair agreed to take a break after she learned that he will be leaving New York City to tour with his band, Tamarama. The story was featured in one episode of "The City" that was broadcast on March 9.
Whitney herself hasn't made statement concerning her split from Jay as well as the mounting reports of her dating Robert Buckley, with whom she was romantically linked after sharing duties as co-hosts of the Havaianas Spring Break event at the Shore Club recently.
