Big Boi Preparing for Solo Album
Music

Big Boi has busy days readying himself to release his solo album in early 2009, recording OutKast's LP and embarking on an acting career as a greedy rapper on 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit'.

OutKast's member Big Boi revealed that he has finished cooking up his solo studio album. "Me and 'Dre [Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3000] were on the conference call [recently]," he told MTV. "He's working on his album, my album is done. We're gonna wait until the top of the year - January or February - to put it out."

Beside gearing up for his solo effort, Big also hinted that another OutKast's record will be worked on soon. "'Dre is gonna come hit y'all, and [then] we're gonna do the Outkast album. So y'all gonna get three records from the 'Kast next year," he added.

Beside lingering in the recording room making new musics, Big will also appear in front of camera guest-starring on TV series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" on November 25. He plays a rapper, who instead of relying on his ability as an artist, decides to earn his money from animal smuggling and when cops catch him, he turns sides and works undercover for the authorities.
