Music

As seen on 'Right Now (Na Na Na)' music video, Akon loses the woman he loves when fame and money are on his hands.

A music video, aimed to support Akon's first single "Right Now (Na Na Na)" off his upcoming LP, "Freedom", has been outed. It mainly shows the rapper as a guy having almost everything in his hands. However, money, fame, and fans seem unable to bring comfort to his heart as the woman he loves is not by his side.

"Freedom" is Akon's third major studio album which is slated for U.S. release on December 2 via Konvict Muzik. On the forthcoming effort, he will collaborate with Colby O'Donis and Kardinal Offishall on "Beautiful", Lil Wayne on "I'm So Paid", T-Pain on "Holla Holla", Ray Lavender on "Against the Grain", and Wyclef Jean on "Sunny Day".

Akon will also appear on Lionel Richie's next album, "Just Go" which is scheduled to hit the U.S. stores on February 17, 2009 under Island Records. Beside listing Akon, Richie's upcoming record will also have contributions from Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Stargate, Johnta Austin, Ne-Yo, and The-Dream.
