'Transformers 2' Possibly Changing Its Title
Movie

Though earlier it has been reported that the new 'Transformers' movie will be called 'Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen', a new report suggested that the title may have undergone a little change.

Just recently the sequel of hit action blockbuster "Transformers" received its elaborated title, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen". But, before long, it has been noted that DreamWorks/Paramount have changed their mind about it and opted to drop the "2" in the title making the movie to be called merely "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen".

Reporting on the matter, the Transformers Live Action Movie Blog posted a message from Paramount's inside source requesting the taking out of the "2" from the movie's name. Part of the message read, "I handle the online publicity for Paramount / Dreamworks and I am working on the new Transformers film. Would you mind correcting your information on the site as the title of the film is Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (please take out the 2)."

However, on the contradictory side of the news, the site also revealed that one of the "Revenge of the Fallen" writer, Roberto Orci, has slammed down the news through TFW2005.com. Giving comment on the latest report, the screenwriter wrote simply, "No, it's true. No 2 in the title." generating much question on the truth of the story. Since Paramount have yet to come out with statement regarding the changing of the title, it seems that fans still have to wait to know whether the news is true or merely a rumor.

"Revenge of the Fallen" directed by Michael Bay is currently filming at the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. The second movie will once again feature the likes of Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro as well as bring newcomers, Isabel Lucas and Rainn Wilson, to the project. It is expected to be finished before it due to be screened on June 26, 2009.
