Video: 'High School Musical' Cast Talk of 'Senior Year'

In the eve of the production's kick off, the director and cast ensemble of 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' sat down with the press to talk about what to expect from the much awaited movie.

AceShowbiz - Gearing up for the start of "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" production, the famous cast ensemble of the highly successful Disney Original Movie series "High School Musical" gathered up for the HSM3 start-of-production press conference. The special conference was held on Friday, May 2 at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The promotional work was attended by director Kenny Ortega and most of the series' stars, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman and Corbin Bleu, minus only Lucas Grabeel. In it, they discussed about how it feels like going back to work again with the others, their thought on the third film and where it may lead to. The footage of the press conference can be seen below.

On his take of the third HSM movie, leading man Efron stated as quoted by Associated Press, "I kind of think of it as the third act. This is the third movie. We're not looking to top anything, just to do it justice." Further, Hudgens who plays Gabriella revealed that the characters in this latest installment are "growing" and also hinted that there will be more romance in it as she claimed, "You definitely see relationship blossom."

Though being the third installment of the hit Disney film series, "Senior Year" will be the first of the series to be made for the big screen and it will still follow the lead characters, Troy and Gabriella, as they become seniors and face hard decision about their future. The movie will start shooting on May 3 in Salt Lake City, Utah and is expected to arrive in theaters on October 24, 2008.
