The pregnancy rumors that hit Minnie Driver have been confirmed. The actress has during an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Thursday, March 13, confirmed that she's carrying a bun in the oven.

Driver verified her pregnancy after Leno joked that it appeared she was gaining weight from too many trips to the Hometown Buffet. When Leno asked point blank if she was pregnant, Driver responded with a definitive, "Yes, I am," adding that she loves "it more than anything else."

Besides making the announcement, Driver also told Leno she's been experiencing morning sickness. "I don't know why they call it morning sickness, I am sick morning, noon and night, but it's a fair trade-off," so she joked.

The British-born Emmy- and Academy Award-nominated actress and singer-songwriter didn't reveal who her baby's father was.

Driver fueled pregnancy rumors last month after she was spotted leaving a Los Angeles doctor's office looking at sonograms with a pal. She, according to New York gossip column Page Six, then called her boyfriend, Matthew, in England and talked about "getting bloodwork done". A source told the publication that Driver then told her pal, "Matthew says I should be quiet so no one hears me."

Over the years, Driver has been romantically linked to the likes of Matt Damon, John Cusack, and Barbra Streisand's stepson Josh Brolin whom she once engaged to.

Professionally, Driver currently stars in the F/X series "The Riches," for which she has earned both a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination. She appeared on Leno's show as a guest and musical act performing "Mockingbird" from her album "Seastories."
