Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon are engaged to be married, it has been reported.

AceShowbiz - Has been dating Reese Witherspoon since March last year, Jake Gyllenhaal is said to have proposed to her and the pair will soon head for the altar.
Rumor has it that the actor proposed to Reese way back when they had that much-publicized trip to Rome together last October. Initially said "no" to the proposal because it was too soon after her divorce from former husband Ryan Phillippe, the actress has since said "yes", after consulting with close friends.
"Not only were they (her friends) crazy about Jake, they could see he was absolutely nuts about her. But you've got to understand - Reese is a one-man woman who hates playing the field," a source revealed. "When Jake proposed in Rome, he knew Reese needed time, and didn't really expect her to say 'yes' right away. He just wanted her to know that he was serious about their relationship - serious enough to make her his wife."
Jake and Reese became close during the filming of their big screen project, "Rendition". Since then they caught wide attention and were rumored to be dating. After repeated denials, they finally made their romance public late last year with photos of them got up close and personal appeared in almost every major media in the town.
Reese and former husband Phillippe have two children together; daughter Ava Elizabeth Phillippe and son Deacon Phillippe.
