The Spice Girls have signed up as the new faces of supermarket chain Tesco.

AceShowbiz - It's going the way it's going. Hot on the heels of their reunion, Spice Girls keep working their way up the industry ladder as if nothing could let them down in anyway. In addition to their new album and world tour, the girls have signed up as the new faces of supermarket chain Tesco.

A spokeswoman for the retailer confirmed that the Spice Girls had filmed two Christmas adverts for the supermarket, which are said to be intended to give "a glimpse into what Christmas with the Spice Girls might be like".

Their venture to front Tesco's ads reportedly earn the fivesome; Victoria Adams, Melanie Brown, Melanie C, Geri Halliwell, and Emma Bunton, a cool 1million pound sterling each.

One of the commercial, as seen on the left side of the news, sees the recently reunited group in seasonal cheer, gathered around a table laden with Christmas goodies.

A Tesco spokesman said they are "thrilled to be working with the Spice Girls for our Christmas campaign" adding that "We feel that the new commercials really emphasize Tesco's commitment to offer something different and exciting this Christmas."

The commercial reportedly set to go on air next month.
