Manages to keep herself busy with a series of upcoming big screen features, Michelle Williams next is poised to play the female lead in drama movie "Mammoth", Variety has revealed.

The beauty thereby will team up with Gael Garcia Bernal as a New York couple in crisis. Pic marks the first English language debut of Swedish filmmaker Lukas Moodysson, known for his 1998 work in "Show Me Love" which won him a Teddy Award in the 1999 Berlin International Film Festival.

Shooting is slated to be commenced on November 5 this year in Thailand before moving to Philippines, Sweden, and New York. Moodysson also penned the screenplay with Lars Jonsson producing and Peter Garde executive producing.

Williams, a native of Kalispell, Montana, broke into her stardom through teen series "Dawson's Creek" and later reached her highlight in film industry when she landed an Oscar nomination for best supporting actress last year for her role in "Brokeback Mountain." She next can be seen playing Coco Rivington in Todd Haynes' ensemble drama "I'm Not There", opens in limited theaters on November 21, 2007.
