Nicolas Cage's Home Intruder Pleaded Not Guilty to Felony Burglary Charge

Robert Dennis Furo Jr., an intruder broke into Nicolas Cage's waterfront home near Los Angeles, pleaded not guilty on Tuesday Oct 2nd to a first-degree burglary charge.

AceShowbiz - Robert Dennis Furo Jr., an intruder broke into Nicolas Cage's Newport Beach home near Los Angeles, was pleaded not guilty Tuesday October 2nd to a first-degree burglary charge.

Robert, 45, was arrested at Cage's crib in Newport Beach at 2:00 AM Monday October 1st after the actor woke up and found him wandering inside his home and wearing one of his jackets. According to TMZ.com Cage confronted the intruder and asked him to remove the jacket before then escorted him into the backyard "without struggle" and called a security guard.

Cage's wife Alice Kim and their son Kal-El Coppola Cage were in the home when the incident happened. Police said there was no sign of forced entry and Robert didn't even give them, or Cage, any trouble.

The Orange County D.A. then charged Robert with a first-degree burglary. Initially held in the OC Jail on $50,000 bail, the judge granted the O.C. District Attorney's request to raise the bail to $100,000. He was ordered back to court on October 10th for a pretrial hearing.
