Not only scores great in American Idol, she also scores double at the 2006 Country Music Television (CMT) awards show Monday April 10th, 2006. Brought home the Female Video of the Year award, the singer also nabbed the Breakthrough Video of the Year prize as well, both for "Jesus, Take the Wheel".

Meanwhile, fellow musician Keith Urban won Video of the Year award for "Better Life" and Brad Paisley's "When I Get Where I'm Going" was chosen as the Most Inspiring Video of the Year. Kenny Chesney won the Male Video of the Year for his "Who You'd Be Today" and Hank Williams Jr. won the Johnny Cash Visionary award.

Sophie Muller, in addition, named Director of the Year, Rascal Flatts' "Skin (Sarabeth)" named Group/Duo Video of the Year, Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles' "Who Says You Can't Go Home" named as Collaborative Video of the Year, while chosen as Hottest Video of the Year was "Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right" by Billy Currington.
