Brian Johnson, born on 5 October 1947, is an English singer and songwriter best known as the powerful frontman of the legendary Australian rock band AC/DC. He assumed the role of lead vocalist in 1980 under the most difficult of circumstances, stepping in after the tragic death of the iconic Bon Scott.
