Sharon Osbourne Denies Causing Leah Remini's Dismissal From 'The Talk'
March 15, 2012 11:03:02Leah Remini and Sharon Osbourne are in a war of words over the former's accusation that the latter caused her to get fired from "The Talk". Months after she and Holly Robinson Peete were dismissed from the CBS talk show, the Stacey Carosi of "Saved by the Bell" took to Twitter to blame her former co-worker for their departures.
"Sharon thought me and Holly were 'ghetto'...we were not funny, awkward and didn't know ourselves," Leah wrote on Monday, March 12 after Howard Stern brought back the topic of Leah and Holly's departure during his radio interview. "She has the power that was given to her."

'The Talk' Spoofs 'Sex and the City' in Promo for New York-Set Episodes
November 17, 2011 04:11:30It's been a few years since Sarah Jessica Parker last slipped into Carrie Bradshaw's extravagant dresses, but "The Talk" has just brought back a memory of "Sex and the City" through its new promo. The CBS talk show parodies the hit HBO series in a video made to promote its upcoming episodes which will be shot in New York.
In it, Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood walk and dress gracefully like the four characters in the Michael Patrick King-created drama comedy series. Sara even dons Carrie's signature tulle in the scene which imitates the opening credits of "SATC". Ruining the four ladies' make-ups and outfits, another "The Talk" host Sharon Osbourne comes along in a taxi which splashes water as it gets through the street.

Aisha Tyler Added as 'The Talk' Full-Time Co-Host
October 24, 2011 08:10:45"The Talk" has tapped Aisha Tyler as its new full-time co-host, joining Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood. The 41-year-old actress/stand-up comedian will begin her regular gig on Monday, October 24, Deadline reports.
Tyler, along with Underwood, is the new addition to the host line-up in season 2 following Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete's departure. The Andrea Marino of "Ghost Whisperer" has previously served as a guest host on the CBS daytime talk show for a week.

Molly Shannon to Guest Host on 'The Talk'
September 03, 2011 12:09:31Expect to get more fresh humor on "The Talk" season 2 with the addition of Molly Shannon to the hosting line-up. The show has just snagged the comedy actress to serve as a co-host alongside returning hosts Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen and Sharon Osbourne as well as newly hired Sheryl Underwood.
Shannon will guest host in September, filling the void left by Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete whose contracts were not renewed for the second season. Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner has also been slated to co-host when Osbourne takes a break this fall.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, Jenner, is said to have signed for two weeks in early season 2. She could also substitute Osbourne when the wife of Ozzy Osbourne takes a break to spend time with her rocker husband.

Meanwhile, the CBS talk show has renewed deals for other co-hosts Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen. Sharon, however, will only return after the fall because she wants to spend some time off with her husband Ozzy Osbourne.

November 12, 2010 01:11:26Actress Leah Remini was reduced to tears on her U.S. TV chat show "The Talk" on Thursday, November 11 when she was united with a U.S. soldier she had been in contact with while he was serving in Iraq. The "King of Queens" star was marking Veterans Day in the States by recalling how she had been exchanging emails with Sergeant Jonathan White after he wrote to a fansite for her hit TV show.
She explained, "I was contacted by Sergeant Jonathan White... through a fan website for the 'King of Queens'... So he contacted them and they contacted me and this soldier asked for a banner. He said if I could just send (them) a banner... we just need to know that people support us."
