Michael Kors returned as a judge to help decide which one of Michelle Lesniak Franklin, Patricia Michaels and Stanley Hudson deserved to be the winner.
All three finalists showcased their collections at Lincoln Center during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. Michelle fascinated the judges with her "Pacific Northwest geek-chic" style, which incorporated various fabrics and made her creations very wearable.

'Project Runway: All Stars' Season 2 Crowns the Winner
January 18, 2013 03:01:03The champion of "Project Runway: All Stars" season was revealed on Thursday, January 17. In the episode, three finalists Uli Herzner, Emilio Sosa and Anthony Ryan Auld had to create a mini-collection for the final runway. They only had four days to prepare it with a budget of only $3,000.
The judges in the season finale were Georgina Chapman, Isaac Mizrahi, Liv Tyler and Margherita Missoni. Anthony presented "Thin Line" collection, including a piece which Isaac called "the best dress I think I've ever seen on 'Project Runway'."

First Promo of 'Project Runway' Season 11 Teases Explosive and Cut-Throat Competition
December 29, 2012 09:12:59"Project Runway" has yet to wrap up its second "All Stars" edition, but a sneak peek at the upcoming eleventh season has been released. Making its way out via The Hollywood Reporter, the video features host Heidi Klum announcing the new twist to 16 contestants that they will be competing as teams instead of individuals for every challenge.
"My heart just dropped" and "We all need to work together, 'coz we all need to move forward" are some of their reactions. One contestant is not amused by this twist as saying, "I'm not really a team player." As the game has the biggest challenge ever for the players, the show promises an explosive and cut-throat competition that includes backstabbings.

'Project Runway' Season 11: Michael Kors' Replacement, New Twist and Guest Judges
December 19, 2012 08:12:46"Project Runway" will feature a new face in the judging panel when it returns for an 11th season. Lifetime has announced that Michael Kors leaves his regular judge post vacant due to scheduling issues, but he will return as a judge in the season 11 finale.
"Always part of the Project Runway family, Michael will be seen in the future on the show," so the network says, "and we are excited to confirm that Michael will be back as a judge for season 11 finale." Kors joined the reality series in the first season.

'Project Runway' Crowns Season 10 Winner

Fabio Costa, Melissa Fleis, Christopher Palu and Dmitry Sholokov were the ones vying for the winning title and the grand prize, but only one of them would be declared the victor.
Leading to the final runway, the four finalists were challenged to improve their designs. Fabio had to make his collections look more luxurious, Dmitry's works shouldn't cros into matron territory, Christopher had to be restyled, and Melissa needed to show more colors.

The designers then headed to Mood where they could spend $350 on materials in only a half hour. Gordana noticed that some of them bought black materials, but she and April used pink. She also explained that she would explore the youthful and feminine side of the women.

Anya Ayoung-Chee Wins 'Project Runway' After Showing Lack of Confidence
October 28, 2011 11:10:52Anya Ayoung-Chee has been named the champion of "Project Runway" season 9, beating out three other remaining contestants. The 29-year-old designer initially looked like she almost gave up her shot at winning the coveted title as she told Tim Gunn that she was not 100 percent happy with her collection.
Earlier in the second part of the finale, the four finalists were given a shopping spree at Mood with a $500 budget. Anya and Viktor Luna used this opportunity to rework some of their designs. The former picked white and black fabrics which did not fit the original color pattern of her collection, while the latter scrapped his gown for a new sexy black cheetah print fitted dress.

Lifetime has revealed that model Angela Lindvall will fill Heidi Klum's shoes as the host of Lifetime's new series spin-off, with designers Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman serving as the judges.
Taking on Tim Gunn mentor role will be Marie Claire editor-in-chief Joanna Coles. She will help guide 13 contestants who have previously joined "Project Runway" in the past seasons, including Austin Scarlett (season 1), Kara Janx (season 2), Anthony Williams (season 7) and Mondo Guerra (season 8).

The Cast of 'Project Runway' Season 9 Revealed

They are 26-year-old Bryce Black, 29-year-old Fallene Wells, 25-year-old Joshua McKinley and many others. October 29, 2010 11:10:10Gretchen Jones stole the title of "Project Runway" season 8 winner from Mondo Guerra. These two, along with Andy South were competing against each other in the Thursday, October 28 finale, but it was the last-standing woman who impressed Heidi Klum and the rest of the judges with her collection.
In the final runway, Gretchen showed her signature feminine design which had some parts fitted and other flowy. Nina Garcia described her clothes ready-to-wear but said it could use better styling. She liked Gretchen's prints, particularly the patchwork pants. Michael Kors loved the jewelry, Klum thought the prints are repetitive while guest judge Jessica Simpson wanted to see it popping.

'Project Runway': Cast, New Format and Guest Judges Revealed
July 16, 2010 11:07:01The 17 designers who will compete for the title as latest winner of "Project Runway" have been unveiled, so has the new format. The reality competition show hosted by Heidi Klum will now run half an hour longer because the show's spin-off "Models of the Runway" has been scrapped.
Klum said there are questions why one is sent home and others aren't. More behind-the-scene footage hopefully would give an answer. "For example, today we have an Elimination Day. It's going to go on four or five hours," Klum explained. "On the show it only has 10-15 minutes. So if there is a very special decision day, when the judges might not agree with one another or something really happens, now we have the freedom to show certain things much longer than we ever could before."

The stylist slash designer impressed the panel of judges, including guest Faith Hill, with his graphic design inspired by 1940s German and Soviet military.
Henderson created a line of red, yellow, black and gray high-collared dresses and separates which are accessorized with leather gloves, patterned leggings and cuffs. Michael Kors said his design was "exhilarating and powerful," while Nina Garcia said Henderson was "fearless".

Hosts Klum and Tim Gunn will join New York City officials at a ceremony to kickstart the forthcoming seventh season, and temporarily rename a section of 7th Avenue Project Runway Avenue.
City chiefs have also agreed to make January 13 Project Runway Day, to mark the show's contribution to the city's fashion industry. The new season begins in America on Thursday, January 14.

Beside featuring designers from all over the U.S., this batch includes the ones from The Philippines, China, Mexico and Dominican Republic. Interestingly, there is no designer originating from New York and Los Angeles which the show often recruited from.
Host Tim Gunn said that this is "the season of the sashay". Brought back to New York City after moving to Los Angeles in the last one, the seventh season will see the designers living in Atlas apartments, working in the Parsons workroom and visiting Mood for supplies.

Irina Shabeyeva Wins 'Project Runway' Season 6
November 20, 2009 11:11:57Irina Shabeyeva, a 27-year-old designer, has won "Project Runway" season 6. The finale airing on Thursday, November 19 finally revealed the winner who has actually been crowned since February this year. The show was in the middle of the broadcasting right battle between Bravo TV and Lifetime late last year.
Irina won over Carol Hannah and Althea after her final designs that opt a warrior woman concept impressed the judges. Michael Kors said while the concept was not exactly original, the result turned up admirable. Heidi Klum added that she would want to own Irina's collection.
