Brad Paisley to Guest Star in 'Nashville' Season Finale
April 24, 2013 03:04:17"Nashville" has enlisted a real-life country music superstar to appear in its season finale. Brad Paisley is tapped to guest star in the last episode of the show's inaugural season, joining his wife Kimberly Williams who portrays Teddy's (Eric Close) mistress on the drama series.
The "Anything Like Me" hitmaker will play himself in the episode. He will sing a song with Connie Britton's Rayna and Charles Esten's Deacon. The episode is slated to air Wednesday, May 22 on ABC.

ABC Orders Full Season of 'Nashville'
November 13, 2012 08:11:27"Nashville" has joined the list of 2012 fall new TV series which gets a full season order. The critically-acclaimed musical drama starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere has been given a back-nine order by ABC.
The network has also given a vote of confidence to Tim Allen's sophomore comedy "Last Man Standing" and Reba McEntire's freshman comedy "Malibu Country" by ordering three additional scripts each.

Wyclef Jean Joins 'Nashville' in Recurring Role

It has been confirmed that the 43-year-old rapper lands a recurring role on the ABC freshman as the head of a music label. Teasing fans with his new gig, he has posted a picture of him on the set with the show's cast members.

Hayden Panettiere on 'Nashville': My Character Is Less Nicer Than Taylor Swift
July 28, 2012 12:07:35Though her character on "Nashville" has the same profession as Taylor Swift, Hayden Panettiere insists her alter ego Juliette Barnes is not based on the real-life country music singer. Speaking to the press at ABC's panel during the Television Critics Association summer tour, the 22-year-old actress said, "I've heard the Taylor Swift thing quite a bit and I think besides being around the same age and blond - not even the height - they are different."
"And I think you guys, once you see her and get to know Juliette, my character, a little bit better, you'll see that. But I really think Taylor would disagree wholeheartedly as well," added the title character depicter in TV movie "Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy". Pointing out another difference between Juliette and Taylor, she stated, "She's [Taylor] much nicer than my character."

It follows country legend Rayna James (Connie Britton) who is forced to share the stage with up-and-comer Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere).
Coming from "The Shield" creator Shawn Ryan, "Last Resort" is a drama thriller about a crew of a nuclear submarine that goes rogue after refusing orders. They escape to a NATO outpost where they declare themselves to be the world's smallest nuclear nation.
