Max informs the staff that they're pursuing famed designer Jonathan Peterson for his new ceramic housewares... except Sean, Liz, and Hunter ruined the company's chances by breaking and entering into his studio. Maybe they were a little too gung-ho to make contact with Peterson. Lorna arrives for a lunch date with Sean and reveals her sexy evening plans with Bernard. Before they head to lunch, Max's wealthy father, Lee, directs multiple, not-so-subtle perverted comments towards Lorna in an attempt to woo her. Lorna's not having it. When she dismissively walks away, Max and Sean devise a plan: Lee knows the artist Peterson, so perhaps they can trick him into showing off his connections to Lorna.

Max and Lee "randomly" show up at the exact restaurant where Sean and Lorna are eating lunch. Sean fills Lorna in on the plan - just be a little flirty to help out your son. Business with Peterson naturally comes up in conversation and Lorna says she would be extremely impressed if Lee knew Peterson. Lee is more than happy to flaunt his Peterson connection, giving Sean and Max the satisfaction of a well-planned scheme. Once the father-son duo leave, Lorna announces Lee no longer repulses her. Bernard has some competition.

Liz is ecstatic that Ellie wants her advice. She's in a situation: there's an unsupervised party this weekend that'll feature make-out games. Her crush, Jake, will be there and she kinda wants to kiss him, but there will be plenty of other guys there too. Liz totally knows what to do... She runs to Sean for advice. Sean says he'll think of something, but Ellie's definitely not going to that party.

Max whirls into Sean's office in a fluster because - surprise, surprise - their parents went out for drinks last night and have another date planned for this evening. Lee's notorious for marrying someone new every five years and Max can't handle another evil stepmother.

In a last ditch attempt, Sean begs Lorna to not date Lee - he's vile and boorish. Lorna pooh-poohs Sean's concern since she finds Lee interesting on the inside. If he happens to be good in the sack tonight, so much the better. Max and Sean are at their wits' end until Sean concocts a new plan of attack: they'll sneak into Lee's hotel room tonight and steal his special "boom boom" pills.

The maid opens the room for them and they find Lorna's purse already inside. Sean rifles through her purse for food while Max takes some Aleve for his splitting headache. Sean discovers the Viagra just as Lorna and Lee show up. The two burglars hide in the closet, prepared to witness the worst show ever. Lee heads to the bathroom for the pills and is sorely disappointed he can't find them. Not to worry, Lorna keeps a stash of Viagra in an Aleve bottle for emergencies. No wonder Max started to feel funny...

Meanwhile, Ellie's out on her first date with Jake. A fancy dinner at a restaurant is more preferable for both of them since they were only going to the party to see each other. Liz and Hunter happily wave from across the dining room - Sean's advice came through for her.

Sean receives a picture of Ellie's date from Liz, but his phone is unfortunately not on silent. Realizing their children are in the closet, Lee and Lorna pretend sex is imminent. Completely disgusted, Sean bursts out of the closet. In flip-flopped roles, Lorna chides Sean for getting too involved in her life. Lee's disappointed in Max, but Lorna instructs him to appreciate his son. In a rare emotional moment, Lee tells Max he sometimes loves him and goes in for the hug - Max is having technical issues so he'll call his dad later. Lorna's turned off by the series of events, so she'll see Lee when he's back in town again. Crisis avoided for now.
