Most of the Real World: Brooklyn roommates have found their roots in the big city, but friendships are changing as the roommates get serious about chasing their dreams.
Katelynn is thinking of looking for a job to help out her bank account while Scott has a promising meeting with a photographer. Despite the dirty dish incident, Scott and Katelynn still share a strong bond in the house.
The Real World house gets a special invitation to the screening of the MTV movie 'Pedro' which is based on Pedro from Real World: San Francisco. The MTV team asks the roommates to put on a screening of the film. Chet wants to host the screening but his roommates say he's not right for the part since he's never had sex.
Katelyn works on getting a go-go dancing gig, while Scott invites his friends over for a big birthday bash. Scott is upset that Katelynn chooses her dancing gig over his birthday party and starts to angry again about Katelynn's lack of cleanliness around the house.
Scott and Chet decide to get Katelynn and Devyn's attention about doing their chores, so they move some of the living room furniture into their bedroom. The girls come home and start to like the new seating arrangement, while the boys pretend to not know how it happened.
JD works on getting a venue for the screening and checks out the LBGT center, but the roommates want to pick a neutral location. The roommates decide on the New York Film Academy and start to promote the event.
Katelynn decides to get Scott back for his prank and tips over every chair in the house. Scott then takes all the dishes in the kitchen and locks them up in the cabinet so that no one can use them. Katelynn's second prank is to steal all the billiard balls and then replaces the living room furniture that was in her room. It then turns into a screaming match between Katelynn, Scott and Devyn.
Scott and Ryan then decide to ration the dishes so that each roommate is only responsible for one dish and one utensil. Katelynn agrees to give the pool balls back if Scott unlocks the cabinet of dishes.
The roommates kick off the 'Pedro' screening and while they don't have a huge turnout the event is successful.
Back at the house, Katelynn is struggling with roommate relations and money but Scott tells her to stay in the Brooklyn house after he apologizes for their fight. Scott doesn't want Katelynn to leave the house and lets her borrow enough money to last her through the month.
On the next episode of Real World Ryan gets a package back at home that he's been dreading since his return from overseas.
