Spencer is shaken when the investigation that's focused on her leads to the police searching her home. But despite all of her troubles, she continues to form an unlikely friendship with Toby.

Meanwhile, Hanna and Caleb seem closer than ever. In fact, Hanna finds what she thinks is a present from Caleb that is meant for her. Unfortunately, it's meant for JENNA and it's a secret flash drive that stores information Jenna wanted Caleb to get for her. When Aria and Emily find out about Caleb's deception, they tell Hanna. Understandably, Hanna is devastated and furious. She corners Jenna in the bathroom and slaps her! Later, she breaks down, heartbroken over what Caleb did to her.

Aria and her brother Mike find it harder than expected to re-acclimate to their parents being back together. And things get even more complicated later when Aria mistakenly sends a text to Ella instead of Ezra, prompting a curiosity from both she and Byron about their daughter's mysterious new suitor.

Emily is shocked when she sees Sean and Paige flirting with each other and can't help but wonder if there could ever be a future between her and Paige.
