When a private sector spy is found dead in a retail store, Jane and the CBI must unravel a mystery that stretches back to a shadowy agreement in the Iraqi dessert. Meanwhile, Jane hires a burglar to rob LaRoche's house in an attempt to get his suspect list. But when the job is botched, Jane has just 24 hours to break his hired goon out of a CBI holding cell or he'll tell LaRoche who was behind the break-in.
