Under duress, defaulting borrower Gibby (guest star Steven Cole Hughes, "Pride and Prejudice") gives Morgan (Jeff Hephner) the keys to his Bassmaster fishing boat as payment, putting Morgan in Larry Conroy's (Michael Sheets, "In Plain Sight") crosshairs. Larry is the cocky golden boy marrying Madison (Jenny Gabrielle, "Hamlet 2"), Morgan's ex. Gibby's boat is locked up in Larry's storage facility and Larry will be damned if Morgan gets to it. Bobette (Laurie Metcalf) and Morgan seek Franklin Cardoza's (Gene Ornelas) legal counsel about the boat issue; but the Mamayo Brothers (Peter Navy Tuiasosopo and Andy Brooks) are also hot on Gibby's heels. Cooper (Jay Ferguson) tries to spice up his lackluster marriage to Cherise (Kimberly Estrada) with alarming results. Brandy (Katie Lowes) consults Pastor Jeff (Mark Vasconcellos, "After Midnight") about her previous indiscretion. Her husband Mike (Joe Peracchio), a shut-in after his desert exodus, spies crabby neighbor Mr. Pheloung (guest star Olajida Kashu Myles, "Swing Vote") and gets desperate to make a radical change in his financial situation. Meanwhile, Julia (Marsha Thomason), intrigued by a campaign ad for district attorney candidate J.C. Wallace (guest star David House, "Breaking Bad") about payday loan companies, takes it upon herself to visit Prestige unannounced, only to find irate customer Shan Jing (guest star Scott Takeda, "Text") making a huge scene at the storefront.
