With the cupcake business closed, the girls take a temp job at an insurance company in order to keep getting by. Max tries to teach Caroline how to be an effective temp - don't tell anyone your name, don't work too quickly, don't call attention to yourself - but Caroline finds it difficult to stop overachieving. While Max continues to skate by while fending off the advances of a sleazy boss, Caroline does so well that she's offered a full time position. Ultimately, Max and Caroline consider whether or not they should give up their cupcake dream for good.
