New 'Cougar Town' Season 3 Promo Includes Wedding Preparation
February 06, 2012 03:02:26Gearing up for the return of "Cougar Town", a highlight reel for the upcoming third season is released. The ten-minute video offers a lot of scenes from the new chapter, including the one which sees Jules dividing the maids of honor's duties between Laurie and Ellie.
In another scene, Jules and her son Travis disgust Grayson when they eat with their bare hands. Grayson, meanwhile, may upset Jules with his wedding picture and by telling her that she is predictable. There are additionally some hilarious stunts involving Jules, Andy and Ellie in different scenes.

David Arquette to Guest Star in 'Cougar Town' Season 3 Finale
January 28, 2012 09:01:11"Scream" movie couple David Arquette and Courteney Cox are going to share screen again on "Cougar Town". The 40-year-old actor, who serves as an executive producer for the ABC comedy, is set to guest star in the show's season 3 finale, the network has confirmed.
Arquette will portray a hotel concierge who offers to help Jules (played by his estranged wife Cox) and the gang with literally anything. The episode itself has been reported to feature [SPOILER ALERT!] Jules-Grayson wedding.

'Cougar Town' Gets Premiere Date and Poster for Season 3
January 18, 2012 09:01:52After a long question about the return date of "Cougar Town", ABC has finally set the premiere date for the show's third season. The drama comedy series will debut the new season on Tuesday, February 14 at 8:30/7:30c.
The Courteney Cox-starring show fills the slot that was recently vacated by the doomed new comedy "Work It". The third season will consist of 15 episodes since the Alphabet has previously trimmed the episode order.

'Cougar Town' Creators Plan to Crash TCA Press Tour
January 05, 2012 11:01:04Though "Cougar Town" will be absent from ABC's midseason primetime line-up and Television Critics Association panel schedule, Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel make sure that the sitcom still stays in the spotlight during the hiatus. The co-creators have announced their plan to stage a panel for their show at the TCA winter press tour.
In a YouTube invite sent to members of the media, Lawrence stated as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter, "TCA... that's when the networks trot out the shows their most excited about, both new and old ones." Biegel asked, "Like ours?" to which Lawrence responded, "No, not ours. We weren't technically invited as a show, but we're going to go ahead and crash TCAs."

'Cougar Town' to Get New Title With Fans' Help
May 30, 2011 11:05:29"Cougar Town" is likely to get a new name for season 3. Creator Bill Lawrence revealed the plans via Twitter, writing on Friday, May 27, "Screw it. I'm changing it (if Kevin's cool w it. Someone ask him for me). Seriously, we just decided. Will use fans to help w new title."
Lawrence and fellow showrunner Kevin Biegel had considered to change the title before season 2 because it did not reflect the premise of the show anymore. "We thought we'd do campy show about woman re-entering world," Lawrence said of the title which he and Biegel picked. "Now 'Cougar Town' is show about adult friendships and drinking. And it's called 'Cougar Town'. I hate myself."

June 04, 2010 11:06:46Tom Selleck is appealing for a role in Courteney Cox's hit show "Cougar Town" - because he's desperate to work with his former "friends" co-star again. The "Magnum, P.I." actor played Cox's on/off onscreen boyfriend, Dr. Richard Burke, in the long running comedy series and appeared in three seasons opposite the actress.
Selleck admits he has always wanted to score another role opposite Cox and would happily appear in her new TV show, about older women chasing younger men. He tells E! Online, "I'd love to work with Courteney again. That would be fun. I've watched (Cougar Town) a couple of times and Courteney is courageous and makes really bold choices. I've always loved that about her."

According to EW, Crow will tackle the role of Grayson's new girlfriend. Played by Josh Hopkins, Grayson is a newly-divorced neighbor to main character Courteney Cox's Jules Cobb. Tapping Crow to be his girlfriend is a U-turn since Grayson usually enjoys dating younger women and rubbing it in Jules' face.

'Cougar Town' Keeps Airing Despite Courteney Cox's Absence
November 23, 2009 10:11:12Courteney Cox is taking a leave from filming her new sitcom "Cougar Town" to attend to a family matter. "We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter," an ABC rep released a statement on Sunday, November 22.
Although what kind of family affair is not disclosed, ABC said that the absence won't affect the show immediately. Cox apparently has shot enough episodes to keep fans entertained until early next year. At least three episodes have been completed and will be aired on November 25, December 9 and January 6, 2010.

Courteney Cox has confirmed that Lisa Kudrow is in talks to appear on her new sitcom "Cougar Town" which has received a full season order. ABC has confirmed the casting news and Kudrow will shoot next month for an episode airing early 2010.
"If it all works out, she'll play a dermatologist that my character can't stop going to even though the doctor is mean to me," Cox tells TV Guide Magazine. She adds that the writers are not exactly sure whether it's related to Botox but, "whatever it is, she's the best in town at what she does and I become addicted."

The conversation was started with a question why Cox's new show's title is in the same line to Aniston's "Pumas". Responding with a joke, Cox said "Yeah, she totally ripped it off! I did know about her movie, but I'm not sure exactly what the story is. I guess Pumas are in their 30s. Jaguars are 50s and sabretooths go right into the 60s?"
