ABC's "" failed to experience the success enjoyed by its original version. After airing just four episodes, the network has shut down production for the remake project starring , and as the new angels.

A representative for the alphabet has confirmed the cancellation. The series will continue to air on Thursdays at 8 P.M. with an unknown number of episodes while the network tries to figure out another show to replace the doomed freshman.

Donning a black dress, Kelly was seen wrestling with the man, who possibly plays a bad guy, before they jumped into the chilly water below. After the filming was cut, the 31-year-old star still put a smile on her face although she was wet from head to toe. She later kept herself warm under a blue robe.

In the revamped TV version of the 1970s series, Kelly plays former U.S. Marine and weapons expert Marisa. Ilonzeh portrays smart, athletic ex-cop Kate, while Taylor is Abby, the youngest and sassiest of the group who is also a con artist. The three girls work for a private-investigation firm in Miami.

The new line-up of "" are in the middle of filming the revamped TV version which pilot has been picked up by ABC. On Tuesday, March 15, , and were spotted filming an action scene in a Miami dock.

Ilonzeh, who plays "a very smart and very athletic ex-cop and a master of martial arts" named Kate, was seen jumping off a yacht fully-clothed and carrying gun. Taylor aka the con artist of the group and Kelly the weapons expert also filmed a wet scene on the same day. During breaks, the actresses were wrapped in robe and boots, eating and walking their dogs.

It was reported last week that "" casting department has nabbed to portray one of the tough angels. TV Line now comes out with the other two casting news, saying and are in negotiations and are close to strike a deal.

Kelly is the "" alumna who also had a recurring role on "". Her character is yet to be named but it's because producers reportedly tailored it to the actress because they have had her name for quite sometime. In the original plan, Kelly is to play Marisa, "a former U.S. Marine, a weapons expert trained in all forms of hand-to-head combat and a neat freak."

The production on "Charlie's Angels" TV revival is set in motion after a year of development. According to Deadline, Josh Friedman who wrote for the now-canceled "" was initially tapped to write the pilot but ABC is now changing lane and has hired "" creators Al Gough and Miles Millar.

The plan to develop the show has been known since last November. ABC's president Steve McPherson wanted it to be fast-tracked along with four other projects, but it never went to pilot stage. McPherson then stepped down from his position and his successor Paul Lee revisited the plan and apparently is interested in the script by Gough and Millar.
