January 18, 2012 04:01:52"Castle" will go back to the 1940s for an upcoming episode. In a picture from the February 6 outing, the title character and his partner Beckett are clad in vintage outfits while he holds her close to him.
In the said episode, "Castle comes across a diary that links the events of a murder back to 1947," executive producer Andrew Marlowe said. "As he reads, he pictures himself as a '40s P.I. and Stana [Katic] as a gangster's moll who owns a nightclub. Our fans will fall in love with Stana all over again."

Female lead Stana Katic has revealed that a sniper case in the Monday, November 21 episode of ABC's drama series "Castle" will bring the crime-solving duo a step closer to a romantic relationship.
When a sniper on a killing spree is terrorizing New York City, Beckett will be faced with memories of her getting shot. This will send Beckett into a downward spiral as Katic said, "It's the first time she's in a space of pure fear, and it's unusual for her and she doesn't know how to handle it."

First Scene of 'Castle' Season 4 Hits the Web
July 26, 2011 03:07:27The first footage from "Castle" season 4, which was recently screened at San Diego Comic-Con, has landed online. The emotional scene features bleeding Beckett being wheeled into a hospital, while Lanie won't let her hands off her friend's wounded chest.
Tamala Jones, who plays Lanie, has shared about the making of the scene. "I'm very overwhelmed by looking at that scene," she said during the show's panel at the annual convention on Sunday, July 24.

It kicks off with Castle complaining about how his character, Nikki Heat, is portrayed in a movie. He slams the actress and the scriptwriter for not doing good-enough jobs.
Later, he goes to a crime scene to investigate a woman murder with Beckett, Ryan and Esposito. They are joined by a surprise guest Natalie Rhodes, the actress who plays Heat in the movie adaptation. She is doing a "character research" to help transform herself into the spitting image of Beckett.

August 13, 2010 01:08:01In a string of casting news, "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" star Ken Baumann has been tapped to have a recurring role on ABC's "Castle" while "Heroes" star Masi Oka is coming to "Hawaii Five-0" as a guest star.
Baumann, known for his role as Ben on the ABC Family series, will be the first boyfriend of Molly Quinn's Alexis Castle. In his first episode, "Punked," Richard Castle is dealing with the fact Alexis is excited about having her first boyfriend, but he's unnerved that she's not confiding in him with all the details. "Castle" returns with the new season Monday, September 20.

According to ABC, Milano is Richard Castle's former love interest who will give Castle and Beckett's relationship the shake up. Named Kyra, the character reconnects with the writer on her wedding day where "sparks fly". The episode is called "Rose for Everafter" but the air date is still unknown. "Castle" is slated to go back on screen starting January 11.

Alyssa Milano Invited Into 'Castle'
November 14, 2009 02:11:09Before Alyssa Milano goes full throttle with her new acting vehicle, she will visit ABC's "Castle" first. The actress has been signed to play a former love interest of Nathan Fillion's Richard Castle and stir things up between Castle and detective Kate Beckett in an episode called "A Rose for Everafter".
How Milano will contribute to the story is not given elaborately but EW said that Richard reconnects with Milano's Kyra on her wedding day and "sparks fly". Her appearance is only scheduled to air in early 2010 when the show returns for the second part of season 2. The shooting, however, will begin as early as next week. "Castle" received a back-nine order in October which leads the show to have a full 22-episode season.
