AceShowbiz - Jo Dee Messina has recorded "Carry Me" to raise cash for the Holy Trinity Montessori's $2.3 million (GBP1.4 million) extension project, which aims to expand the education facility to accommodate more young students.

Jo Dee Messina is offering up the track for $1 (62 pence) and is also planning to stage a series of shows to raise extra funds.

She says, "This isn't about just a cause I believe in or the latest celebrity charity. I want this campaign to show that even in a time when people feel there is little hope, that there is hope and dreams still do come true. I chose (the song) because we need people from all over to carry us with their support to make this dream come true."
