Rapper The Game celebrated his return to Los Angeles by hitting the stage with Lil Wayne on Friday, after he was deported by Canadian immigration officials.
The "Dreams" hitmaker, The Game real name Jayceon Taylor, was due to perform a string of concerts across Canada last week, but had to cancel the tour when he was refused entry and detained by border authorities upon landing on a flight from California.
According to show promoters at Substance Entertainment Group, The Game was banned from entering Canada due to his alleged affiliation with notorious L.A. gang The Bloods.
The hip-hop star took to Twitter.com to protest his detainment when the incident first occurred on Wednesday, claiming he could be locked up for up to 14 days.
But he was released within days and logged back on to Twitter on Saturday, after his surprise performance at Lil Wayne's concert at the Staples Center.
He wrote, "Happy to be home !!! S/O (shout out) to (Wayne) for lettin a n**ga rock out."
And The Game briefly addressed the Canadian controversy by insisting there "aint (sic) no love lost".
