Recalling the accident, the 'When in Rome' actor insists it was his car that was being pushed into an oncoming traffic by another motorist who performed a U-turn in the middle of the road.

AceShowbiz - Funny man Dax Shepard is still battling a car accident claim after a young motorist almost killed him while performing a U-turn in the middle of the road. The other driver's Range Rover pushed the actor's car into oncoming traffic and Shepard's life flashed before him as a bus screeched to a halt to avoid crushing him.
The shaken "When in Rome" star got out of his vehicle only to find that the Range Rover driver was blaming him for the accident. He says, "These guys immediately they come out of the gates hot. They're like, 'Bro, what happened?' I'm like, 'You tell me man, you just, made a left turn into my car'."
The two motorists exchanged insurance details and the Range Rover driver parted with the words, "Look bro, accidents happen". An angry Shepard responded, "Yeah, especially when you do U-turns into people."
When the star picked up his car, he learned he had been blamed for the crash and called his insurance company for clarification: "They said that you turned right into them... and then I remembered I had this dude's number; we exchanged numbers at the scene of the crime... so I call this guy up."
"I go, 'You know you hit me about a month ago?' He's like, 'What do you want bro?' I'm like, 'I wanna know how you ended up telling them I hit you, and he goes, 'I don't know what you were doing, man.' I go, 'I was driving straight down the road is what I was doing.' "
"I called his insurance company and the thing (Range Rover) is registered in his aunt's name; he's not even an official driver on it, so guys, watch out for those rimmed-up Range Rovers out there."
