Jonas Brothers fans in Mexico face disappointment but send love as Nick Jonas needs a break to recover from an illness, causing the band to reschedule upcoming shows.

AceShowbiz - Fans of the Jonas Brothers in Mexico will have to wait a bit longer to catch the trio in action as health concerns for Nick Jonas have led to the postponement of their highly anticipated concerts in Mexico City and Monterrey. Initially set for early May, these performances are now pushed back to August due to Nick's battle with a severe strain of Influenza A.

On May 3, Nick Jonas shared a personal update on social media, revealing the challenging decision to delay the shows. "Hi guys. I have come down with the nasty strain of influenza-A that's been going around, and I'm not able to sing at the moment," he wrote.

The sudden health scare came after Nick lost his voice following a show in Cancun, with his condition worsening to include fever, body aches, and a cough. Following medical advice, the difficult call was made to postpone to ensure the full recovery of the "Jealous" singer.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, the Jonas Brothers have rescheduled the concerts to August 21 and 22 in Mexico City, and August 24 and 25 in Monterrey, promising to bring an unforgettable experience to their fans.

"We always want to be able to give you guys the best show and I'm just not able to do that for these shows in Mexico at this time," Nick explained, expressing his dismay over disappointing their supporters.

The Jonas Brothers, comprising Nick, Joe Jonas, and Kevin Jonas, have been on a whirlwind tour dubbed THE TOUR, which represents their most ambitious outing yet. Spanning 98 shows across 26 countries, the tour is a celebration of their career, featuring hits from their five albums. Despite this setback, they have received overwhelming support from their fans, underscoring the deep connection between the band and their global fanbase.

As fans rally around Nick, wishing him a speedy recovery, anticipation builds for the rescheduled dates. The Jonas Brothers have promised to deliver a 120% performance in August, making it an even more special reunion for the band and their fans in Mexico.
