Sean John, Diddy's multi-million dollar business encompassing designer clothing, sportswear and fragrances, will have Rick Ross as a spokesmodel.
Heavyweight rapper Rick Ross is entering the world of fashion - he's been unveiled as the new face of P. Diddy's label, Sean John. The pair has been working closely in recent months after Combs signed on as Ross' manager and now the hip-hop mogul has brought the "Monster" star onboard to promote his designer wear.
Ross tells Examiner.com, "You know, Puff (Combs) is a good friend first, a mentor and business partner. The partnership was something that came natural (sic)." And Ross admits the clothing deal is just the start of big things for him in the fashion world.
He says, "Being a big guy that's fashion conscious Sean John is definitely a brand I rock with. I have plans to dabble in the fashion industry. I get to rock fly clothes and that's always good. It's a great opportunity for me. I mean Sean John represents hip-hop. He (Combs) is a hip-hop mogul."
Combs launched Sean John in 1998 and has since turned it into a multi-million dollar business, encompassing designer clothing, sportswear and fragrances.
