'We thank u all for your prayers & well wishes !!! The surgery was quick & successful. She's up & on the way home,' The Game wrote on Twitter to his fans.
Rapper The Game is breathing a sigh of relief after his baby girl underwent successful surgery to fix a mystery ailment. The Dreams hitmaker's three-month-old daughter, Cali Dream Taylor, was admitted to hospital on Monday, December 6 to have the procedure.
The hip-hop star, who is currently on tour, took to his Twitter.com account to ask fans to pray for the tot, revealing her health had deteriorated, forcing doctors to bring forward the date of the surgery. He wrote, "My daughter has surgery today. If you find time send a prayer up for me on her behalf. THANK YOU in advance..."
"She was supposed to have the surgery when I got home but the condition worsened and it had to be moved up, It's KILLIN ME that I'm not there. She's only 3 months old so it's extra HARD to fathom but through God's strife she is already healed, still I pray that all goes as planned."
But the surgery was a success and The Game is thankful his baby is recovering well. Writing on the microblogging site late on Monday, he added, "We thank u all for your prayers & well wishes !!! The surgery was quick & successful. She's up & on the way home."
"I also wanna thank the doctor & his team at Cedar Sinai pediactric (sic) ward 4 being very professional, efficient & taking good care of my baby. Cali Dream Taylor a.k.a. Superwoman !!! Strong lil chubby baby ha ha ha... Again, thank God as well as her mother & all of u 4 the blessings."
