Three people, whose identities have not yet been released, have been taken into custody after stabbing Katsutoshi Takazato at the Beverly Hills property which led him to death.
Los Angeles police have arrested three people in connection to a fatal stabbing outside the home of movie producer Fuminori Hayashida. The victim, identified as Katsutoshi Takazato, was found dead at the Beverly Hills property on Tuesday, July 20.
House deeds list Hayashida, who served as executive producer on the late Dennis Hopper's 1990s film "Lured Innocence", as the owner, although 21-year-old Takazato was living there at the time of his death. Detectives from the Beverly Hills Police Department have taken three suspects into custody; their identities have yet to be released and cops haven't established a motive for the killing.
On the arrest information, Sgt. Shan Davis of the Beverly Hills Police Department told ABC, "There's really no specifics that I can let out on this, just through the specific dynamics of this case. It's very unique, and eventually, these specifics will come to light. This was good, old fashioned police work of detectives just literally working 24 hours to get these individuals into custody."
