The former model shares her disappointment to Anna Wintour who didn't not recognize her when they met at the restroom at the AmFAR benefit.
Supermodel-turned-reality TV personality Paulina Porizkova has taken aim at U.S. Vogue boss Anna Wintour - after the fashion icon snubbed her at a star-studded gala. The beauty, a former judge on Tyra Banks' "America's Next Top Model", bumped into Wintour at the AmFAR benefit in New York on Wednesday night, February 10, but was stunned when the editor-in-chief failed to recognize her despite their Vogue cover collaborations.
And Porizkova has taken to her Huffington Post blog to lash out at the fashion boss. She writes, "I walked in [the bathroom] and almost straight into Anna Wintour. 'Hi, Anna,' I said brightly to Anna's mirror reflection. Her large eyes in her large head flickered. And with the slightest nod, one that may have been a twitch, she left me standing at the sinks."
"I admit I felt a bit more than slighted, I was after all, on quite a few covers of her magazine, and the glance she gave me is one I'd give to an expired carton of milk. I am aware my expiration date [as a model] is long past, but a slight acknowledgment that I wasn't the bathroom attendant would have been nice."
