Isabella Strahan reveals her chemotherapy treatments have been reduced from six rounds to four rounds and she hopes she gets to 'have a summer' when they are done.

AceShowbiz - Isabella Strahan, the 19-year-old daughter of "Good Morning America" co-anchor Michael Strahan, has provided a heartening update on her ongoing battle with medulloblastoma, a type of brain tumor.

In a YouTube vlog, Isabella shared that her chemotherapy treatments have been reduced, and she only has two rounds of chemotherapy left and they will be finished by May. "I'm so happy," she exclaimed with tears of joy. "I can kind of try to have a summer to feel better."

Isabella was initially scheduled for six rounds of chemotherapy, which would have ended in July. However, with the new treatment plan, she will have four rounds total, giving her more time to recover before heading back to the University of Southern California in the fall.

Isabella's journey began in October, when she started experiencing headaches and nausea. Doctors discovered a fast-growing tumor in the back of her brain and diagnosed her with medulloblastoma. She has since undergone surgery to remove the tumor.

In addition to the chemotherapy, Isabella has also shared the side effects she has experienced, including hair loss, brain fog, weakness, and fatigue. She has been documenting her health journey on her YouTube channel, raising awareness about brain tumors and benefiting the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University, where she receives treatment.

Michael Strahan has expressed pride in Isabella's resilience, saying, "My kids are interested in making their own way. They have their own personalities and do their own thing. I'm happy to see that."

In a touching moment, Isabella's twin sister, Sophia, who attends Duke University, surprised her during the latest vlog. The emotional reunion brought tears of happiness to Isabella's eyes.

Isabella's positive update demonstrates her unwavering spirit and the support she has from her family and loved ones as she continues her fight against medulloblastoma.
