The 'Mad Men' alum admits the shocking passing of her 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina' co-star at age 27 'hurts' her heart as she remembers the 'fiery' and 'loving' actor.

AceShowbiz - Kiernan Shipka is mourning the death of Chance Perdomo. Days after news of the unfortunate event hit the web, the actress has paid a heartfelt tribute to her co-star on Netflix's series "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina".

On Tuesday, April 2, the "Mad Men" alum took to her Instagram page to share throwback photos of her with Chance. In the images, the two smiled brightly on various occasions. Kiernan also included a clip of the late actor giving her a piggyback ride.

In the caption, she revealed her cute nickname for her co-star as she wrote, "Chancey Pants." She went on admitting, "Oh man this hurts. He was a one of a kind soul. Just the most fiery, creative, loving, connected, and caring force you could possibly imagine..."

"As playful as he was kind. As loving as he was hilarious," the 24-year-old remembered the late actor. "He never failed to make me laugh and he never failed to keep me on my toes (or off of them if he was giving me a piggyback ride to my trailer which he often did. Thanks Chance.)"

"His humanity was a generous gift to me and to so many people. Really hard to picture this world without him in it," she added, before concluding, "I loved him with my whole heart. I always will."

Chance died on March 30 in a motorcycle accident at the age of 27. Local authorities confirmed that he was the sole individual involved in the accident. It is believed the accident occurred late on March 29 or early March 30 while Chance was travelling through Upstate New York enroute to Toronto to begin filming for season 2 of "Gen V".

"His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest," his team stated in a heartfelt message. "We ask to please respect the family's wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother."

In the wake of his passing, filming on "Gen V" season 2 has been postponed indefinitely. The producers paid tribute to Chance's exceptional character and talent, describing him as "charming, smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person."

Chance was part of the main cast of the Amazon Prime Video series' season 1, portraying Andre Anderson. He had his breakthrough role as Ambrose Spellman on "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina".
