The 20-year-old actress could be seen sitting in the back of a car. The "Stranger Things" star had her hair tied back, not shying away from showing a number of red blotches on her face.
Millie shared in the caption, "My journey with acne is something very personal to me. We all deserve to feel confident & comfortable in our own skin & I hope by sharing my experience, you feel inspired to embrace your skin & love it no matter what stage it's in!"
The "Damsel" actress went on responding to some questions from fans on Instagram Stories. "How do you stay confident in your own skin when you're having a breakout?" one of them asked.
To that, the British star pointed out that she treated it like it's just a phase in her life. "Knowing that breakouts are temporary moments in life and that this shall eventually pass!" the fiancee of Jake Bongiovi said.
Another fan asked, "Any advice for those who feel insecure because of acne?" In her reply, the Florence by Mills founder wrote, "Remember to be kind to yourself and know what your breakouts do not define you. Breakouts are something that you do not need to be ashamed of. I prefer makeup-free days when my skin struggles and try to keep my routine simple and easy."
Fans loved Millie's honest responses to the questions with one saying, "Thank you for showing this as I have had very bad acne growing up and just seeing this photo makes me so inspired." Another wrote, "When ever I'm feeling down about my skin I'll always remember what mills said."
The post came after Millie and Jake celebrated their third dating anniversary. Alongside a selfie featuring Jake playfully pretending to bite her cheek, the "Enola Holmes actress, who announced her engagement to Jake in April 2023, wrote, "Three years of bliss." She added, "Love you best friend."
Jake also gushed over Millie in his own post. "Time flies when you're having fun," he captioned a snap of Millie cuddling a dog. "I love you so much. 3 years." The son of Jon Bon Jovi previously shared the same photo on National Puppy Day.
